Hotel review – 25 hours Hotel Langstrasse Zurich | The CLOY Experience with Magic Switzerland

The second day of my CLOY getaway with Magic Switzerland was rather hectic and involved a lot of walking and traveling via trains, but hey! I am not complaining – the stunning views were totally worth it. Post visiting the Jungfrauch region and having lunch at the pretty, car-free village of Wengen, we packed our bags and left for Zurich where we were super pumped to experience all the spots that Ri Jeong-Hyeok and Yoon Seri accidentally bumped at. Also, I am not going to lie; but Zurich, especially the old town and the lake is always a good idea. Upon reaching, we checked into the eclectic 25hours Hotel Langstrasse, which was a pretty lively and colorful place to be at after a tiring day!

Location and Accessibility

25hours Hotel Langstrasse is set in the 4. Aussersihl district in Zürich, in the direct vicinity of the main train station. It’s not a stone’s throw from the railway station; reaching the hotel was quite a walk, and in the sweltering heat of June (yes, we do have summers in Switzerland) – the walk completely drained us out! The closest bus stop is a 3-minute walk, and I would advise using public transport to get to the hotel from the railway station.

Vibe and Ambience

The vibe of this hotel is a beautiful blend of culture and lifestyle. The hotel itself can be seen as a small, independent universe, inspired by the contrasts between banks and red lights, art and finance. When you’re here, you’ll notice quirky and creative elements everywhere, that is why I found this hotel to be quite unique. Everything was very hip and trendy (but in a cool way). Lots of details add up to make this hotel one of a kind: nice bar and restaurant below; a shop that has eclectic items; rooms are equipped with toys if you get bored, and much more!

Facilities and Services

When it comes to the rooms, each room at this hotel is air conditioned and comes equipped with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Apart from the basic facilities like free wifi, daily housekeeping etc., they also have a cozy gym/fitness center, a beautiful terrace, temporary art galleries and restaurants and bars attached to the hotel itself. I particularly enjoyed the Neni restaurant – a quirky oriental food place and the hotel’s breakfast spread.

My Final Thoughts

Stylish rooms, excellent service, and well connected to pretty much anything you want to see in Zurich.
