Q: Please tell our readers a little bit about yourself
Hi, I’m Angela Warm, former environmental-scientist turned mom-scientist and founder of Warm Wellness.
Although I hail from sunny Florida (USA), my family and I have lived in Switzerland for the past 8 ½ years. What started as a two-year work assignment, turned into a serious love affair with this tiny country. Even when life looked like it would take us back to the USA, we couldn’t resist the strong pull that has kept us rooted here. The natural beauty, the friendliness, the safety, and of course the proximity to so many other countries, cultures, and cuisines; seriously what’s not to love about living in Switzerland.
Q: Tell us about your current business
As a Seasonal Health Coach, I help women shift their family’s immune system, so they kick colds to the curb and stop being sidelined by the seasonal sniffles. There is so much conflicting health information out there these days. It is hard to figure out who or what to trust. As if we didn’t have enough on our To-Do list, navigating the latest health fads can lead one to stick their head in the sand.
You’ve tried everything but short of bubble wrapping your family – what is a mom supposed to do? That’s where I come in. I help women cut through the overwhelm, so they can discover the easiest path to keeping themselves and their families healthy. There isn’t a one size fits all approach. What might work great for one family, could be troublesome for the next. I help my clients create a roadmap that feels right for them and their unique situation. I provide the mom tested guidance, seeped in science, to deliver a holistic look at your health goals and where improvements can be made.

Getting healthy should not feel like a life sentence to deprivation. And it shouldn’t find you sobbing at the bottom of the cookie bag. Making simple and busy-proof lifestyle changes can go far in sustaining your health goals and your sanity.
Q: What is a day like “in your heels”?
Lucky for me, I never had to wear heels. Field boots were more my ‘style’. But now a typical day starts with getting my two kids off to school which always begins with a healthy breakfast. Breakfast is one of those areas I’m a stickler about. It sets the tone for the rest of the day, and if you can start healthy, chances are you can stay healthy.
After the kids are off to school, I tend to some form of exercise depending on when my first client is that day. Weekday mornings are usually spent coaching my 1:1 clients, or working with my team on the next project. I really love helping women realize that their health dreams aren’t out of reach. Sometimes all it takes is a few tweaks to their diet, maybe introduce some protein and boom – more energy throughout the day.
Depending on afternoon schedules, I am either working from home or back in the office wrapping up business or conducting a webinar. I love providing my followers with bi-weekly mini webinars around the topics of health, nutrition, self care or reducing toxins. My goal is to show them how simple it can be to make small changes and see big impacts.
Evenings are spent playing board games or helping the kids with their homework (although my German is still pretty “schlecht”). And if all goes well, I may catch an episode of Ozark.
Q: What can the readers of My Swiss Story expect from you?
As a Seasonal Health Coach, I’m obsessed with helping others take charge of their health on their terms. I often encourage my clients to embrace the change when considering their health objectives. By breaking down their goals into bite-sized morsels, they are much easier to achieve. That is where the seasons come into play.
Each season calls for different ways to protect us and stay healthy. Whether it is rest and warm soups in the winter, or berries and sunshine in the summer. By embracing what is abundant each season, we can supercharge our health in the process.

I look forward to helping you take your health to the next level, by sharing unique ways to help you live your healthiest season. Be on the lookout for healthy seasonal recipes, DIY health tips, self-care snippets, and more.
Q: Fun facts about you
Although I may have stepped away from my career as an environmental scientist, being an advocate for our planet is super important to me. I’ve been a tree hugger for as long as I can recall.
That is why I’m obsessed with reducing toxins and plastic wherever possible. You will often find me teaching classes on how to make your own cleaning and skincare products, or experimenting with healthy snack options.
Q: When you’re not working, you are…?
Hiking in the gorgeous Swiss mountains, or on an epic bike ride with my adventurous family. If at home I am likely experimenting with a new recipe, or driving my husband crazy by moving the furniture around in our tiny Swiss apartment. We love to travel, so I am often (pre-coronavirus) planning our next holiday. I also enjoy essential oils, yoga, and a good convo and cuppa with a dear friend.
