Impressions from yesterday's "Coffee-with-a-purpose" β˜• meet... yea it was online πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» and 5 cool women business owners πŸ’β€β™€οΈ did short presentations of who they are, how did they decide to do what they do and what they were looking for.
Back in 2017, when I was struggling to find a job in πŸ‡¨πŸ‡, the fact that I was blogging and creating content was probably the most soothing factor in my life. And btw this struggle was a big shock - I had worked in the tech industry for 12 years or so...and was at a decent point in my career when we moved. But the usual auto response rejection which needed translation (πŸ˜‰), wasn't the easiest on my ego and I think the instant gratification via social media provided a bandage solution.

Yesterday we visited the German πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ town of Vogtsburg which is around a 50 minute drive from Basel. Unfortunately, I don't see a public transport route to the town on the map and that could be one of the reasons for it being untouched, hidden, and pristine. πŸ˜‰ I am kidding - the wineries 🍷 were swarming with people. πŸ₯‚

Our third day, the day we were supposed to head back started on a better note - I slept well and on days that I sleep well, I can pretty much conquer the world. πŸ’ͺπŸ™ˆ
Our second day, was spent exploring the other villages. From Laussane we went to the beautiful village of Chexbres and had lunch at another very lovely restaurant, Bidlingmyer, which offers great views and is not the most expensive. πŸ’–πŸ˜‹πŸ‘ŒπŸŒŠ
We took advantage of the bridge weekend, and travelled to the French part of Switzerland this time around. After being in Switzerland πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ for the past 6 years, these are not our FIRSTs but I can definitely call these places our #familyfavourites ❀
