We’re at the fag end of summer and probably would be seeing more rain than sun. But as much as we would like to laze by the lakeside and hike up a mountain, a rainy day can ruin your mood and plans. But the good news is that it doesn’t mean you should be moping and at a loss of things to do. Zurich has surprises and exciting activities in store even for the gloomiest days. We drew up a list of our favourites.
FIFA Football Museum
Right in the city and a treat for football fans, with memorabilia, trivia and souvenirs. The museum houses artifacts and exhibits that appeal to Messi- or Rooney worshippers as well as families looking for a rainy-day outing.

What better way to spend a wet rainy day that watching a movie snuggly in a theatre? Zurich’s movie theatres are small, cozy and give you that personal feel. There’s also a choice of Arthouse Theatres and Commercial Theatres to choose from. Just check for the language of films you wish to watch.

If you have a favourite rainy day activity that we missed, please share. It’ll add to the list and feature you with credits!
