This travel special is making us miss our trip to Vatican City, Rome. Today we’re going to be sharing our experience of going to Vatican City Museum Tour and the iconic Sistine Chapel.
We absolutely loved Rome and were only able to explore the suburbs because of the shortage of time. We were supposed to go for the Monumental Tour in Rome which includes Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum, but my sister fell sick in the morning. And the help desk at Leonardo Da Vinci Hotel helped us figure out a PRIVATE tour to the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel.
About the Tour: It was a three hour long tour (please wear comfortable shoes) but it was one of the most beautiful and enriching experiences. The Vatican Museum can be a little overwhelming but our fabulous “guide” and expert made it a breeze. Here are some of our favourite photos of the Vatican Museum!

For those of you who haven’t been to Vatican yet, you’re not allowed to take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel. A lot of people were sneaking in and taking pictures from their phones, but both of us decided to just take in the moment. It was a memorable moment since it was around 5 pm, the sun was just about setting in and lighting up the entire canvas above us.
It was one of those rare moments when you feel divinity.
