Lose yourself in the deep, icy blue eyes of a pack of playful huskies. And in the lush, picturesque location of Muotathal.
The Husky Lodge has plenty to offer for active families. You can choose to spend only a day or pack for a weekend getaway to explore the region at leisure.

Huskies
Huskies are working dogs and therefore very strong and always raring to go. Their size and wolf-like appearance can be intimidating for some, but in behavior, they are just like attention-seeking puppies.
They will happily lie belly up for a generous rub and lick children lovingly without a care. Give your adrenaline a boost and the children a time of their lives with an unforgettable adventure with these beautiful dogs.
And the best thing is that, you can visit the Husky Lodge all year round for the most unique and exciting activities that let you enjoy the region in all its glory.

Activities
First, the landscape with gurgling streams, the surrounding mountains and forests will take your breath away. Then, the super active huskies will leave you panting for breath. This place is a lodge and a kennel where they offer various tours (in Deutsche & English), from walking the dogs to enjoying a trek or a scooter run with them through meadows and forests. You’ll be accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced mushers who’ll tell you lots of interesting facts about the lifestyle of these star residents.
Check out the summer tours here and make sure you book in advance.

Food and drinks
After you’ve worked up an appetite with the huskies, settle down for a sumptuous meal. Whether you want a lively summer grill or a cozy winter fondue, the lodge’s full-service restaurant caters to all tastes in all seasons. You can also combine your tour with a meal in the restaurant or simply grill sausages over a campfire.
The highlight during the summer months is the BBQ with live music and the dates for it this year are – 8th & 22nd July / 5th & 19th August.
